Cognilytics, Inc. is looking for full time Business Analyst/Sr. Business Analysts with preferred knowledge of the banking industry, especially in lending, payments, and mortgage asset classes.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Analyzes business problems at financial services clients focused in the residential mortgage asset class
· Synthesizes complex financial and mathematical problems into simple frameworks, to solve and present to clients
· Develops business requirements, functional specifications, business process maps and system design specifications for client engagements.
· Creates and delivers presentations to client executives
· Supports the program office in tracking project work plans and client status reports.
Education & Experience:
- 5 -- 7 years of experience in the financial services, risk analytics, fixed income, or consulting space
- Experience in client facing consulting engagements a plus
- Experience in the banking industry, especially with loan product offerings, credit/debit card offerings, mortgage analytics, mortgage valuation, and/or mortgage securities is a huge plus
- Experience in analyzing or trading residential mortgage backed securities market
